Catholic National Shrine Of Our Lady Welcomes Annual Divine Mercy Pilgrimage To Walsingham

On Saturday 1st June, the annual National Divine Mercy Pilgrimage to Walsingham saw around 500 participants gather together with other day pilgrims, for a day of prayer and reflection, led by Fr Luke Mazurek.

The pilgrimage began at 11.00 am at the Shrine, with a welcome, followed by the Ceremony of Enthronement of the Image of the Merciful Lord. They were then led in the recitation of the Rosary.

Fr Robert Billing, Rector of the Shrine, celebrated the 12 noon Mass, joined by Fr Luke Mazurek. At 2.15 pm, there was Praise and Worship, followed by a talk with the theme: “The Merciful Father”.

Later in the afternoon, there was the Hour of Mercy, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Chaplet of the Divine Mercy and Benediction. This was followed by the Veneration of the Image of the Merciful Jesus and the Relic of St Faustina.

You can watch the pilgrimage here or visit the Shrine’s YouTube channel.
