Catholic National Shrine Of Our Lady Welcomes Annual Birmingham Pilgrimage To Walsingham

On Saturday 11th May, the annual Birmingham Diocese pilgrimage to Walsingham, led by Canon Paul McNally, Episcopal Vicar for the Archdiocese, saw around 300 participants gather together with other day pilgrims, for Mass and a procession.

The pilgrimage began at 1.30 pm with the Holy Mass in the Chapel of Reconciliation, celebrated by Canon Paul McNally, with the theme of ‘Mary, model of prayer and intercessor’.

This was followed by a procession to the Abbey Grounds in Walsingham for prayer at the site of the Holy House.
