The Celebration of Mass at the Shrine

Since September 2023, at the Catholic National Shrine and Basilica of Our Lady, at Walsingham, we have been consolidating our resources and energies into developing the Sacred Liturgy at the 12 noon Pilgrim Mass, celebrated each day throughout the year. With the encouragement of many pilgrims, in-person and online, this approach will continue and intensify for the forthcoming Pilgrim Season, with no public morning celebration of Mass at the Shrine, except by way of exception. The Rector will continue to keep this arrangement under review during 2024.

The Pilgrim Mass in the Chapel of Reconciliation at 12 noon each day [including on Sundays] will continue, as well as Morning Adoration, Rosary and Confessions, and Afternoon Adoration, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, and Benediction.

There is a morning celebration of Mass in the Church of the Annunciation, in the village of Little Walsingham, at 9.30am, Monday-Saturday, and at 10.30am on Sunday.

The monthly extraordinary form celebration of Mass will continue to be celebrated at the Shrine, on the second Saturday of the month, at 9.30am, in the Chapel of Reconciliation.
