Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage to Walsingham 2023 visual highlights presented by Norman Servais of EWTN GB

Our Lady’s Shrine was delighted to host the recent Dowry of Mary Pilgrimage which was led by Bishop Alan Hopes, emeritus bishop of East Anglia, and Bishop Paul Anthony Mullassery from Kerala.

Present were groups from many of the Chaplaincies from around London, Birmingham and other parts of the UK.

The Chaplainces represented were: Kerelan, Zambian, Chinese, Filipino, Ethiopian, Lithuanian, Zimbabwean, Sri Lankan Sinhalese, Ghanaian, Santisima Trinidan,

the Birmingham Chaplaincies – Tamil, West Indian, Eritrean, Cameroonian, Nigerian, Hong Kong, along with parish groups from Croydon, Eastham, Southall, OL of Fatima & St. Thomas More from Harlow, and resident group St. Thomas of Canterbury from Billingham.

Thank you all for making such an epic pilgrimage to Walsingham, and to all others who attended.

Thank you to all the many priests, deacons and religious from the various Chaplaincies and parishes who accompanied their pilgrims and, to the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre who were in attendance.

And finally to our wonderful Walsingham Rector, Chaplains and Staff who ensured the pilgrimage was such a time of grace, prayer, and beautiful expression of our catholic and apostolic faith.
