The Rector, Mgr. Moger reflects:
On Saturday March 12th, the National Shrine of Our Lady was privileged to welcome about 80 Ukrainian pilgrims who had travelled from London. Although their visit was planned before their country was invaded, their pilgrimage at this time was particularly fortuitous and poignant. Indeed, the two priests, who celebrated the Divine Liturgy and heard Confessions, each had wives and children living in Ukraine, who had made the journey, in one case to Poland, in the other to the Czech Republic, to escape the war.
Our hearts go out to them all and we continue to hold them in prayer before our Heavenly Father, and Our Lady of Walsingham.
