March 25th marks the Solemnity of the Annunciation – the Patronal Feast of Our Lady’s Shrine. We will host a double celebration as we commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the wondrous Rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary (March 29th 2020).

Programme for the Day

• 9am Morning Prayer in the Slipper Chapel
• 9.30am Holy Mass in the Slipper Chapel
• 11am to 11.45am Confessions
• 11am Rosary – as used on the Dowry Tour of Our Lady of Walsingham
• 11.40am Litany of English Marian Titles & Shrines – sung by Cantor using Litany prepared for the Rededication last year
• 12 Noon Angelus & Solemn Mass – Principal Celebrant Bishop Hopes. At the end of the Mass the Bishop will process to the Statue of Our Lady of Walsingham and the Ave Maris Stella will be sung.
• 3pm Divine Mercy Chaplet & silent Adoration
• 3.15pm Sung Solemn Vespers followed by Benediction. At the end of Benediction the Rector will go to the Statue of Our Lady of Walsingham and lead us in the Angelus Promise & the Prayer for England in commemoration of the great Rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary.
• 4pm Talk by Fr. Stephen Wang
• Overnight Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from Dowry House
