I am happy that Our Lady’s National Shrine here in Walsingham is part of the National Rosary Whirlwind British Isles.
In these days of the global pandemic which causes such sickness, sorrow, and disruption in our daily and national lives, and such terrible uncertainty and anxiety, we turn to Our Lady of the Rosary to implore her powerful intercession before the Lord for mercy, grace and deliverance.
We are also mindful of the overall intentions of Rosary Whirlwind British Isles for Faith, Life and Peace as we pray for the spiritual well being of our nations and peoples; that they may be preserved from adversity and war. We pray for our Church and its proclamation of the Gospel, which is under increasing challenge and attack: our faith undermined by an aggressively secular culture; the sanctity of life assailed; and peace fracturing everywhere. We pray for the conversion of peoples and for their protection from every evil, sickness and danger.
I commend Rosary Whirlwind British Isles to you and invite you wherever you may be throughout England, Wales, Scotland and the Isles around to participate. Sign your Parish up on the Rosary Whirlwind Map as www.rosaryonthecoast.co.uk
Join the different online links every evening throughout October at 8pm for the Rosary. On October 13th, join from wherever you are the National Rosary Whirlwind British Isles , and on Saturday October 31st the great National Rosary relay Rally.
Contemplating the face of Christ with the heart of Mary our Mother, will make us even more united as a spiritual family and will help us overcome this time of trial. (Pope Francis)
