To mark the 10th anniversary of the Worldpriest Global Rosary Relay for priests and the National Mass of Thanksgiving and Renewal for
Priests celebrated by Cardinal Vincent Nichols at Westminster Cathedral, the National Catholic Shrine at Walsingham is holding a day of prayer in thanksgiving and
support for the priests of our country.
Come and join us for the day of prayer. All welcome. Prayers will also be said for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and the religious life.
The day will include:
11:00 – Confessions
11:00 – Stations of the Cross in support of all priests
12:00 – Angelus and Solemn Holy Mass of the Sacred Heart
Lunch
2:15 – Veneration of the Relic of St John Vianney and Litany and prayers for priests
2:45 – Rosary relay for priests – Worldpriest Global Rosary Relay – Glorious Mysteries
(The Shrine has been selected as one of the participating shrines in the Rosary Relay)
3:00 – Adoration and Litany of the Sacred Heart
4:00 – Vespers and Benediction
