The Shrine`s 26 bed retreat centre, at http://www.dowryhouse.org.uk – Dowry House., is a historic
medieval building in the heart of Walsingham. With its own chapel, cloistered garden, conference room, two libraries and exceptional collection of Marian books it
welcomes pilgrims looking for a time of retreat, formation, silence and prayer. at http://www.walsinghamcommunity.org – The Community
of Our Lady of Walsingham. provides hospitality, spiritual accompaniment, sung divine office and teaching on the spirituality of Walsingham. Eucharistic
adoration is offered in the main chapel.
Residential visitors are welcome to come on their own or as part of a group. Day groups are also welcome. The retreat continues the legacy left by Sue
Ryder and is directly opposite the main gate of the Abbey Grounds, where the Holy House of Walsingham originally stood.
