Dear Pilgrims and Friends of the Basilica of Our Lady at Walsingham,
Christmas is the time of a joyful encounter with the Lord, who is born and comes to us. During this time we think about the grotto of the nativity, but also about
the spiritual birth of baby Jesus in our life.

For the time of celebrating and pondering this mystery of our faith, that `the word was made flesh and dwelt among us`,
may the great joy come upon all people and change our hearts. Through the intercession of Our Lady, let us thank God for his presence among us and for His
abundant love for us.
