Seventy years ago this coming Monday on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast which took place on July 16th 1948, a significant solemn
Consecration of England + Wales was made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the ancient Priory Grounds of Walsingham by Cardinal Griffith.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham will be offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 12 noon. There will be stations of
the cross in the grounds at 11am followed by the opportunity to connect further through an exhibition surrounding the significant events of the consecration for
England + Wales.
