The first EWTN studio and office in the UK is now officially opened. This new centre for the new evangelisation is located right in the heart
of the village of Walsingham – opposite Elmham House, Shrine’s own accommodation.
Guests present at the opening of the studio were first welcomed by the Rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, Mgr John Armitage,
then the studio was blessed by Bishop Alan Hopes, Bishop of East Anglia, and finally EWTN Chairman and CEO Michael Warsaw cut a ceremonial ribbon. Moreover
Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster, sent a letter for this occasion, which was read aloud by Bishop Alan Hopes.
