`Our Lady of Walsingham Prayer for the Nations` Prayer Group

Last week on Tuesday 4th April took place a very first meeting of the new monthly `Our Lady of Walsingham Prayer for the
Nations` Prayer Group in Westminster Cathedral.

The group met in the Chapel of St George + the English Martyrs before the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham, which was solemnly enthroned on
8th December – Feast of the Immaculate Conception – last year.

There was a sense of great anticipation, and a wonderful Group of committed intercessors and lovers of Our Lady of Walsingham turned out. The new
Prayer Group is to be one of strong intercession for the evangelical missions of both the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and of Westminster Cathedral,
the mother Cathedral of England Mary’s Dowry.

They pray too for the Church and for our troubled world and for the myriads of intentions which each prayer group member brings. The group meets
every first Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will be Tuesday 2nd May at 2.30 pm to 4.15 pm.
