On Saturday, 16th July the Diocese of Hallam made their annual pilgrimage to Walsingham. Several pilgrims enjoyed lunch in the dining
room at Elmham House, the accommodation for residential pilgrims and then processed down the to the Shrine. A Vigil Mass was celebrated by Bishop Ralph
Heskett C. Cs. R and after the Mass the Sheffield branch of the Walsingham Association presented a very generous cheque to the Shrine which will go to the
Development Fund. Fr Ray Staunton SM thanked the branch for their gift on behalf of the Rector, Mgr John Armitage, who was at the Shrine in Knock for its
rededication.
