A large number of families camped for the weekend in the fields opposite the Shrine. On Saturday afternoon Mass was celebrated in the extraordinary form by
Cardinal Burke, who had been invited by the NACF to join them for the weekend. The Cardinal presided at the midday Mass on Sunday and preached. In the
afternoon there was an Eucharistic Procession along the Pilgrims` Way ending with Benediction. There was then the opportunity to say goodbye to the
Cardinal over refreshments to conclude a wonderful weekend.
