Hard on the heels of the Tamil pilgrimage the Shrine welcomed the priests and parishes of its own diocese of East Anglia. The day began with Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament in the Church of the Annunciation in the village. Bishop Alan Hopes crowned the statue of Our Lady of Walsingham and then led the procession
down the Holy Mile to the Shrine. On arrival there was the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Later in the afternoon Bishop Hopes celebrated Holy Mass.
