After the daily midday pilgrim Mass, Father Shafiq Abou Zayd celebrated a Melkite rite Mass in Arabic for members of the Lebanese community in London. This was a
truly memorable occasion, the first time this rite and language have been used at the Shrine and a witness of support for suffering Christians in the Middle East.
Father Shafiq will lead a Middle East pilgrimage next year on 2nd July.
