The new parish Church of the Annunciation in Walsingham is completed and, I am sure you will agree, has the "noble simplicity" that was envisaged and that it blends in well with the Norfolk surroundings. A booklet with beautiful photographs of the building and explanations of some of the details in the Church is now available from the Bureau priced £1 plus 50p postage and packing. (Please make cheques payable to RC National Shrine and send it with your name and address to the address below). The new church cost in the region of £1million to build - but not quite all the funds have been raised yet. You can help by sending a donation, making an interest free loan or by sponsoring a pew, for example. If you are making a donation and you pay tax at the normal rate it helps enormously if you sign a Gift Aid form - downloadable here . The Parish has set up a "Sponsor a Roof Tile" fundraising initiative - tiles are £5 each and in return the donor can have the name of a Benefactor recorded in a Book of Remembrance, who will also be remembered in a monthly Mass.
