On Saturday 2nd June, we welcome the 3rd Divine Mercy National Pilgrimage to Walsingham led by Mgr. Keith Barltrop and Fr. Andrzej Gowkielewicz. The timetable will be slightly different from the previous 2 years, as they will be at the 12 noon Mass at the Shrine followed by Eucharistic Adoration and then a Silent Blessed Sacrament Procession along Pilgrim’s Way to Elmham House Gardens.
During this time, members of the National Association of Catholic Family – who are celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year – will be arriving to camp in a field near the Shrine. They will be having their own Mass at 5.15 pm in the Chapel of Reconciliation then joining 12 noon Mass on Sunday 3rd June.
Also on Sunday 3rd June we will be joined by participants in “A Day with Mary” which is “a day of instruction, devotion and intercession”. They will be starting in the village at 12.10 pm with a Procession from Friday Market Place to the Shrine along the Pilgrim’s Way, praying the Joyful and Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. During the afternoon they will be praying at the Shrine and, weather permitting, having an outdoor Procession of the Blessed Sacrament.
While this is going on members of NACF will be processing to the village to have Benediction in the Priory Grounds (after the village Jubilee Celebration Picnic has finished there).
